Oracle 11g pivoting.
Oracle 11g introduces the pivot command, the ability to change row values into columns and vise-versa.
10.2.0.4 Log write time : Warning
This is introduced with the 10.2.0.4 patchset and indicates that the redo is not working as fast as intended.
Oracle 11g ddl_lock_timeout
DDL With the WAIT Option (DDL_LOCK_TIMEOUT) When performing DDL operations on an object which was heavily accessed, you would get the error ORA-00054. This would return instantly, but you now have another option.
