Q: I have a number of access databases that pull in data from Neteeza and spits it out in emails and other things. I’d like to give these DB’s to others in my department but they don’t have the Neteeza DNS driver available. I’ve tried copying the nsqlodbc.dll to their system32 folder but that didn’t work since they don’t have admin rights. How can I accomplish this without having to install Aginity on every machine?
A: You have to use the nzodbcsetup.exe file to install the ODBC drivers. It requires admin access so if the users are not granted admin access on their systems you will have to work with your IT department to install the drivers. Most likely someone within IT already has the nzodbcsetup.exe program to install the ODBC drivers. If not you can download it from our support site. If you do not have an account on our support site you’ll need to talk to someone else in your organization who does have access… most likely someone in the DBA / system admin group.
Thanks for the share.
For anyone wanting additional ODBC Drivers there are plenty on the market.

Hi Venkat,
The oledb (32 and 64 bit), odbc and jdbc drivers are shipped with Netezza. Install those, create the dns connection you want to use and select that as the connection you want to use in Aginity.
Cheers,
Gary.
