Using EMCLI to get agent properties.
EMCLI allows us to obtain agent properties, and indeed to set them from the command line. Such a tool would be useful in maintaining possibly multiple OEM’s depending on criteria, and updating each agent remotely.

Installing EM 11Gr1 on AIX.
Walkthrough of EM 11Gr1 installation on AIX. Installing Grid Control 11gR1 requires the WebLogic server be installed first, and a certified database. Once done, you can start installing Grid Control.

Add-on OMS Side Configuration Assistant Fails.
The OMS Side Configuration Assistant Fails Immediately on AIX. This is because oracle incorrectly identifies the OS as Unix, not AIX. A file has to be updated to get this to go through.

The OMS Assistant runs for a while and gives little output as to what it is doing. You can monitor it from the logs though.
